These prints are a response to a continual feeling of being overwhelmed. I’m using software that I’ve written myself for sketching. It’s written in Java/Processing and I’ve coded a database that stores the drawing data. Drawings then go to a laser engraver, a CNC machine, a silkscreen, etc., depending on the matrix I want to print from.
I’m incorporating digital tools in my work, but they’re in no way simple digital prints. I move between analog and digital, feeding one into the other and back. I’m concerned more about the processes than the products.
