Juror Peter Van Dyck recognized my painting, Kara for inclusion into this year’s exhibition. There will be an opening reception August 31st. The juror will lecture and present awards September 22nd. The show closes September 29th.
In 2009 I had life size paintings in this annual show. This year however, life size is a single ear on a #10 can lid. The exhibition runs from August 3rd — Sept 24th at the Old Courthouse Art Center in Woodstock, IL.

Two of my paintings – Consumption of the Virgin and From Which to Choose – have been juried into Real People ’09. The exhibition will be at the Old Courthouse Arts Center in Woodstock, Illinois.
I’ve been selected for exhibition in Positive/Negative 24. The painting to be shown is entitled From Which To Choose. This piece calls up for discussion the interlocking choices members of a family make, both within and without.
